Elegant Custom Made Home Office With Free Floating Desk And Shelf Boustead and Brown designed and built this elegant built-in home office optimized for productivity. The extensive American white oak veneer desktop and shelf are the focal point, finished in a clear satin that highlights the oak's organic warmth. For task lighting, an LED strip discreetly lights the underside of the shelf. The cabinetry provides storage space for files and supplies behind the Blum's soft-close doors, and integrated drawers built into the free-floating desk offer additional concealed storage for pens and other stationery. The final result of this custom-made home office is a beautiful balance of warm materials, functionality, and storage.
